Taxis / Rideshare (From Airport to venue)
Taxis are available 24/7 from sheltered ranks located on the ground floor outside T1 and in the T4 Transport Hub.

A Melbourne Airport access fee of $4.78 (inc GST) applies to all pick-ups from an airport taxi rank. The fee is included in the taxi fare, and there is no airport charge for drop-off.
Outside of peak periods, it is approximately a 20 minute drive from the airport to the Moonee Valley Racing Club.

Train
There is no rail link from the airport to the city centre.
A direct train from Melbourne CBD's Southern Cross Station to Moonee Valley Railway Station is approximately 30 minutes. The walk from the station to the Moonee Valley Racing Club is 10 minutes.
Tram
Tram route 59 from Melbourne CBD takes approximately 35 minutes to reach the Moonee Ponds Junction which is 450 metres west of the racecourse. To plan your journey, click here.
