The Norwegian EV Experience

Norway is the world leader when it comes to EV adoption, where a remarkable 8 out of 10 new car purchases are fully electric. Currently, over 22 percent of the nation's passenger car fleet is electrified. Why are people choosing EVs, what has the Norwegian government done and what do the EV drivers think about owning and driving an EV? In this presentation, Helene Busengdal will explain how this transition has happened, and what experiences and learnings it brings.

Helene is a Project Co-Ordinator in the Department of Analysis and Advisory Services in the Norwegian EV Association where she has been working for three years.

She has been the Norwegian EV Associations representative in several national and international research and policy projects, part of the Program Committee for the annual international conference the Nordic EV Summit, as well as responsible for both administration, analysis and presentation of the Association’s key surveys.
